Six city students take refuge in deserted ruins when stranded on a highway, and start telling each other scary stories to keep amused.
The stories include: A husband trying to scare his wife; a man stuck at a creepy "healthy hotel"; a school teacher spooked by a child's homework; a housewife scared of apples; a bizarre lift on a freeway; and a college kid with an unusual power.
Unlike the usual Indian horror film, this does not resort to sound effects and visuals for thrills.
Each sketch has its moments, though a couple of them could have been brilliant with small script changes, and a resistance to oversimplifying.
Most of the actors do decent jobs, especially Raghubir Yadav as the freaked-out school-teacher.

Arrested by Delhi Police, Mussaddi Lal Tripathi admits his crime is because he is a 'common man'.
Starting with his retirement as a school-teacher, and then the ailment and subsequent passing of his wife, Shanti, he sets about to perform last rites in a number of holy places along with his unemployed slacker-son, Bunty.
After bribing railway employees for letting them travel without tickets, the duo are then fleeced by pundits who charge them an arm and a leg for performing Hindu cremation rites, and Bunty then leaves him after their clothes get stolen.
Three months later, he returns home to find that both electricity and the phone have been disconnected due to non-payment of bills, & confusion reigns when bank officials accuse him of taking a loan.
But the worst is yet to come when he will be deprived of any income after Pension and Accounts Office notify him that he is 'officially dead'...

Orphaned at a young age, former officer with Goa Police, Arjun Vishnu Bhaagwat, now lives alone, though he has a sweetheart in gorgeous model, Priya.
Amidst reports of police extending their search for missing prostitutes, specifically the Caucasian daughter of a high-profile Russian Diplomat, Arjun is hired by a gangster, Sameer, and for a fee, must not only locate missing call-girls but also their abductor.
Unable to get any clues, he than enlists the assistance of Sameer to recruit a bait, Reshma, who comes from an impoverished family, for the killer.
Shortly thereafter Reshma goes missing, and Arjun loses contact with her.
Guilt-ridden, he decides to use all possible resources to try and locate her before she herself becomes included in the official 'missing persons' list.

The potential killer, Viju, is an uptight older ex-convict as well as a former gangster, who now runs a pub in Paris, and is willing to kill Karan.
As he sets about this gruesome task, he comes across an old flame, Kamini, as well as his estranged wife, Sita - and it is these encounters that may well be the turning point in this life that may convince him to leave the bombs and Bandooks behind and spend the rest of his life praying and watching the Bhakti Channel.

The screenplay underlines the gritty politics, hierarchy, rules, commands, intelligence, wit and betrayal within the business.

Following charges of corruption, Colva's (Goa) Police Inspector Rakesh Kadam kills himself, leaving a devastated wife, Megha, and son, Nitin.
She takes it upon herself to canvas support that her husband was framed by a gangster, Jaykant Shikre, and vainly insists on a CBI Inquiry.
When the High Court requires Jaykant, on unrelated charges, to present himself at Shivgad Police Station, which is located at the borders of Maharashtra and Karnataka, he refuses to do so, and the local Inspector Bajirao Singham, who has recently fallen in love with stunning Kavya Bhosle, summons him.
An enraged Jaikant does appear along with an army of goons, but is no match for Bajirao, who has support from the entire community. Humbled and humiliated, Jaykant returns to Goa, and ensures Bajirao gets transferred there.
It is here he not only plans to use an army of goons, his control and influence over politicians...
